Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics vendor sets anything on your device. This page is the complete inventory — what exists, why, for how long, and what your choices are.

What this page covers

"Cookies" here means anything stored on your device by this site: HTTP cookies, and browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage). A first-party item is set by erianux.com for erianux.com; a third-party item would be set for another company's domain — this site sets none. A session item disappears when the browser or tab closes; a persistent item carries an expiry date.

The complete inventory

  • 01erx_session — first-party cookie, only if you sign in Set when you use a members sign-in link; it keeps you signed in to your Erianux account. Contains a random session identifier only — no email, no name, nothing readable. HttpOnly (scripts cannot read it), Secure (HTTPS only), SameSite=Lax (not sent on cross-site requests). Expires after 30 days or the moment you sign out. It is authentication, not tracking: it is never used to profile you, and if you never sign in it is never set. The partner dashboard uses the same first-party sign-in cookie.
  • 02erx_aff — first-party cookie, only if a partner signs in The affiliate dashboard's sign-in session: the same design as erx_session (random identifier only, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, 30 days or until sign-out). Set only by an approved partner's sign-in link; never for customers.
  • 03erx_ref — first-party cookie, only if you arrive through a partner's link If you reach the site through an affiliate's referral link (a ?ref=CODE address), this cookie holds that code and nothing else for 60 days, so that if you buy within that window the partner is credited. It contains no identifier of you, is not used for advertising or profiling, and is never shared with anyone — at checkout it simply tells us which partner to credit. Delete it any time; nothing else changes.
  • 04erianux-intro — sessionStorage, this tab only Remembers that the opening animation has already played, so it does not replay on every page. One flag, in your browser's session storage; cleared automatically when the tab closes. Not a cookie, never transmitted to us, identifies nothing.
  • 05Cloudflare — infrastructure, not tracking The site is served by Cloudflare. During a bot-mitigation challenge Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie of its own; that is a denial-of-service defence, not analytics. Our traffic measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless by design: it sets nothing on your device, uses no fingerprinting, and reports aggregate counts that identify no one.
  • 06Stripe — on Stripe's pages, not ours Purchases happen on checkout pages hosted by Stripe, our payment processor, under Stripe's own privacy policy and cookie practices, which include fraud-prevention cookies on stripe.com. This site itself embeds no Stripe script and sets no Stripe cookie.
  • 07Page-view count — first-party, no cookie Each page view sends one request to this site recording the day, the page path, the referring site (host only), the country and the device class (phone, tablet or desktop) as reported by our host. No IP address and no identifier of any kind is stored, so views cannot be joined into a visit or a person. It exists to show us which pages are read.
  • 08erx-banner-closed and erx-nocount — localStorage, only if you use them If you close a site-wide notice, the browser keeps a flag so the same notice does not reappear; erx-nocount is a switch our own staff set so their visits are left out of the page-view count. Neither leaves your browser.
  • 09erx_staff — first-party cookie, staff only Set only when a member of staff signs in to the staff console; it holds a session token and nothing about visitors.

That is the entire list for erianux.com. The members and partner portals load their typefaces from Google Fonts; that is a request to Google for a font file and sets nothing on your device, and it is the one third-party request those pages make.

What we deliberately do not set

No advertising or retargeting pixels. No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session-recording scripts). No social-media widgets that phone home. No fingerprinting. No cross-site identifiers. No cookies for the sake of "personalisation". No A/B-testing trackers. We do not sell or share personal information — see Do Not Sell or Share — and the absence of tracking machinery on this site is how that promise is kept structurally, not just contractually.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent banners exist to gather permission for optional cookies — advertising, analytics that profile you, third-party trackers. This site sets none of those. The first-party items above are strictly necessary for the functions you invoke (staying signed in after you request a sign-in link; not replaying an intro you have already seen), which is the category that consent laws exempt. A banner with nothing behind it would be theatre. If we ever add anything optional, a consent control will appear before it does, and this page will change first.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and site data at any time in your browser's privacy settings (Settings → Privacy in Chrome, Edge and Brave; Preferences → Privacy in Firefox and Safari), for all sites or for erianux.com alone. The complete effect on this site: the intro animation plays again, and a signed-in member or partner is signed out and would need to request a new sign-in link. Nothing else changes — no feature of the public site depends on any stored item.

Because the sign-in cookie is strictly functional, blocking it simply means the members area cannot keep you signed in; the rest of the site works fully with all cookies blocked.

Changes & contact

If the inventory above ever changes, this page changes with it, dated. Questions about cookies or anything stored on your device: send a privacy request or write to legal@erianux.com.
