Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to deliver software, keep a licence working, and defend a payment dispute. There is no advertising, no profiling, and nothing is sold.

Who we are

Erianux LLC is a limited liability company organised in Wyoming and doing business in Texas, and is the data controller for the processing described here. Questions, requests and objections go to support@erianux.com.

What we process

Three categories, held for three different reasons and for three different lengths of time. They are kept separate deliberately.

Licence data Machine ID (an anonymised identifier for your computer that does not reveal what the computer is), licence key, product, order reference, email address. Contract
Transaction evidence IP address, timestamp, the exact version of the policy text you agreed to, payment session reference, trial start date, licence delivery timestamp. Legitimate interest
Financial records Invoices, amounts, tax records. Legal obligation
Mailing list Email address, the page you subscribed from, and the IP address of the subscribing request (an anti-abuse record, so a bot cannot flood the list with other people's addresses), if you asked for release notifications. Consent
Members area Email address, name if you gave one, sign-in dates and session records, if you use the members area. Sign-in links are one-time: the token in the email is never stored — only a hash of it, which cannot be turned back into the link. Contract
Affiliate records Application details (name, email, channel), payout details, commission history and the tax form the program requires (W-9 or W-8), if you are an affiliate. Contract + legal obligation
Referral attribution A partner's referral code, stored in your browser for 60 days if you arrive through an affiliate link, so the partner is credited on a purchase. No identifier of you. Legitimate interest
Messages you send Name, email and the message itself, when you use a form on this site or write to us — kept as ordinary correspondence so we can answer and show that we did. Legitimate interest

We do not collect names beyond what a payment requires, do not build profiles, do not track you across other websites, and do not sell or rent data to anyone.

Why, and on what basis

  • 01 Delivering and enforcing your licence — Article 6(1)(b) Our products are licensed to a specific machine. Processing your machine ID is how a licence is issued, how it is validated, and how a free transfer to a new computer is honoured. This is performance of the contract you entered, not a balancing exercise.
  • 02 Fraud prevention and payment disputes — Article 6(1)(f) When a purchase is disputed, we must be able to show what was bought, when it was delivered, what terms were agreed, and that the product was used. Without that record we cannot defend a claim, and the loss falls on us for a product the buyer keeps. We consider this a legitimate interest that does not override your rights, because the data is minimal, is never used to profile or market to you, and exists only to establish facts about a transaction you initiated.
  • 03 Tax and accounting — Article 6(1)(c) Financial records are kept because the law requires us to keep them.
  • 04 Release notifications — Article 6(1)(a) Only if you asked. Withdraw at any time and the address is deleted, not suppressed.

The trial

A trial starts the first time a product runs on your machine. To provide it, we process the product, the start date and your machine identifier — used only so the trial period is counted once rather than repeatedly.

This processing is strictly necessary to provide the trial you asked for. It is not used for analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

How long we keep it

Licence data For as long as the licence exists. Lifetime licences do not expire, so neither does the record that makes them work. Life of licence
Transaction evidence Card networks permit disputes long after a purchase. We hold this for 180 days as standard, and longer only where a dispute or legal claim is actually live. 180 days
Financial records For the period tax law requires. Statutory
Mailing list Until you unsubscribe. Until withdrawn

Who else sees it

  • 01 Stripe Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's systems and never reach ours. For fraud prevention and dispute adjudication Stripe acts as an independent controller of certain data, under its own privacy policy rather than on our instruction.
  • 02 Cloudflare Hosts this site and the database holding the records described above, as our processor.
  • 03 Card issuers and banks Where a payment is disputed, the evidence described above is submitted to the card network and the buyer's bank so the dispute can be decided. That is the purpose the record exists for.
  • 04 Our email provider (Resend) Delivers sign-in links, release notifications and our replies to you. It sees the address and the message, as our processor, and uses them for nothing else.
  • 05 Nobody else No advertisers, no data brokers, no third-party analytics vendor, no sale of data under any circumstances. Traffic measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless, aggregate, and identifying no one. See Cookies.

Where it is held

Erianux is a United States company and our infrastructure is operated by providers based in the United States. Your data is held and processed in the United States. Erianux offers its products in and from the United States and does not direct them to any other market.

Diagnostics you choose to send

Our products can write a local diagnostic report — version, machine identifier, the product's own internal state — to help support fix a problem. A report stays on your computer unless you send it to us, by email or with the product's Send diagnostic report button. Nothing is ever sent without that click. Reports contain no account numbers, balances, positions or chart contents; account activity appears only as counts. A report you send is used to fix your issue and is deleted when the issue is closed.

Security

The site is HTTPS-only. Members sessions are random identifiers in HttpOnly, Secure cookies that scripts cannot read; sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes; the databases holding the records above are operated by our host with access limited to us. No card number ever touches our systems — payment happens on the processor's own pages. If a breach ever affected your data, we would notify you and the authorities the law names, within the law's deadlines.

Children

This site and our products are for adults trading real markets. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16; if we learn we hold any, we delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to support@erianux.com or use the privacy request form. We do not charge for this and we will not make it difficult.

One limit, stated plainly: where data is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, we may keep it despite a deletion request. That exception is recognised by the privacy laws that apply to us, and it is the reason a request to erase transaction evidence while a payment dispute is open will not be granted.

Your right to object

You can object at any time to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest.

That means the transaction evidence described above — IP address, consent record, session reference. Write to support@erianux.com and say you object. We will stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the data is needed for a legal claim.

This right does not extend to licence data, which we process to perform the contract with you, or to records the law requires us to keep.

Complaints & changes

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, tell us first — support@erianux.com — and we will answer within 30 days. You also always have the right to complain to your supervisory authority (EU/UK) or your state attorney general (US) without asking us.

When this policy changes, the change is dated here, and a change that affects how existing data is used is announced to the addresses on record before it takes effect — never silently.
