Every update is free, for life.
A lifetime licence includes every update to that product at no additional cost. There is no upgrade fee and no version you have to re-buy.
-
02
Where you hear about it first.
On the Updates page. Released, coming and required updates are all on the Updates page, newest first, and the same news goes to Discord #announcements. A required update is also emailed to every owner of that product.

03
Three labels, and what each asks of you.
Released: a build is in your hands — install it when convenient. Coming: it is in build or in testing; we say where it stands and give a date only when we are sure. Required: something outside our control (a platform change) or a defect means the old build will stop working or misbehave — we say by when, what breaks if you do nothing, and exactly what to do.

04
How you get it.
From the purchase email or your account at erianux.com/membership. NinjaTrader 8: Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly (old) → Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On… (new). Quantower: run the new installer over the old one. Then close the platform completely and reopen — both cache indicator assemblies at startup, and skipping the restart is the number one reason an update seems to have done nothing. MetaTrader 4 and 5: updates arrive through the MQL5 Market. In MetaTrader, open Market, then Purchased, and press Update.

05
Your settings survive.
Updates do not touch your workspaces, drawings or preferences. If a release changes the settings layout, an existing chart keeps the old panel until you re-add the indicator; the release notes say so when that applies.

06
What a version number means.
Major.minor.patch. A patch fixes a defect and changes nothing you would notice otherwise. A minor adds or refines a feature. A major changes how the product works or looks, and comes with notes you should read before installing.

07
Defects first, then features.
There is no fixed release calendar. A reported defect goes to the front of the queue; features ship when they are ready and tested on the platform they are for. Every feature request gets reviewed, and what fits the product ships to everyone who owns it.
